CURRICULUM
Nature and Play Based- We believe in learning through nature. Babies and toddlers gain so much knowledge simply by being outside. Vivid colors, feeling the breeze, hearing the birds sing. All of these experiences help children jumpstart their language skills, reading skills, observation and science skills. Being outside also allows for more opportunities to work on their motor skills and cooperating with peers. Being outside also promotes cozy feelings and emotional regulation.
We spend as much time as possible outside doing hands on, stimulating activities to build all of those skills.
Food Program
We know how hard it is to pack nutritious lunches for our kids, so we create healthy snacks for morning and afternoon snack included in the tuition starting at 1 years old or when they are eating most table foods.
We are mindful of our little ones just learning to eat. Foods are softened, when necessary, peeled, and cut long ways to promote self-feeding in a safe, baby led way.
Besides the food program being helpful for parents, we also believe it creates opportunities to try new foods and to develop independence skills such as serving food to themselves with tongs, helping to pass out plates or utensils, and cleaning up after themselves.
